Story time this Friday.

Tomorrow AM (well, today, really), Millari and I are heading north to Quebec for a little vacation in honor of her birthday. We'll be coming back on Friday. I don't know exactly when, as I don't know how long it will take to get back. I'd like to have folks over, and I currently plan to do so. (So you should all come.) I hope to be able to post from Canada with an update on this subject. Watch this space.

My girlfriend is cool.

This evening Millari learned that one of her former students was laid up in the hospital. Handicapped and homeless, he had apparently attempted suicide. Since he apparently had no one to come and visit him, she decided that she should. She wound up having a good time, too.

She is such a good person. If I'd had anything to do with it, I'd be proud of her.
