Quick Post while I settle in

Working quite a bit over the next week. Between last Friday and Monday next week, I will have only this Tuesday off. This weekend was Conbust at Smith college. It's in Seelye Hall and it feels rather like it has picked up where 5Con left off, right down to the attendance of 130 over the weekend. The store did OK, and it was worth it for the advertising presence. Poor Lefty did not get much of a weekend off, though.

Next Thursday, I shall be 35 years old. I'm a little excited, a little nervous, and little disappointed that I shall be too busy to do any sort of birthday thing. (I'm working late that night pakcing for ICon, a big show on Long Island at SUNY Stonybrook. I am psyched to be working the big show, though. More extroversion!) As always, I hunger for presents and attention. In addition to my list of goodies at Modern Myths, I think I'd like a new bicycle, so I can ride to wherever when I won't need the car.

I really, really like the new Battle Star Galactica. You should all be watching.

I hope to see more of my friends in the months to come.
