Sad Note

Ronnie and Amy Nelson, two wonderful friends I don't know half so well as I should like, are moving to AZ tomorrow, and I must dash to a farewell dinner right now. I just wished to mark my disappointment that they shall no longer be a ten minute drive away.

Still, I kind of like visiting Arizona.

I suppose parts of it must be attactive. I didn't care for the part that I saw. Shadow's sister lives there and is forever campaining to have the rest of the family move out and join them.

I liked Tucson when I lived out there for a short while. However, the pace of urban development out there is mad. Self-destructive, heedless of costs or consequences, and hurtful to the people and ecology of the area. Mad. I'm not sure I could bring myself to live there.
