but I bit on Syd's LJ, so...

"We think we know each other through our blogs, when really there's little that we know about each other sometimes. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you."

I grew up in Andover, MA, mostly in a colonial salt-box on Holt Rd. I lived there until I went of to Kenyon college, a small preppy breeding ground in Ohio. I moved out west because I had friends here, and it's greener than eastern MA.

I'm going to ask a kind of random question simply to see what the answer might reveal about you...

What was your favorite course at Kenyon that was not in English or History? What, if anything, did you consider doing other than what you did? Did you have a secret desire to be a botanist or maybe a philosopher? Dazzle me with your secret intellectual loves.

The Play directing seminar. I sort of wish I had made time for theater and become a drama rat. Of course, part of that was just a fantasy that I might get to fuck all the hot drama babes. I suspect that, had something of that nature actually materialized, I would have been terrified, but, whatever...

What I'd really like to learn someday is Anglo-Saxon and the history of the English language. That's really fascinating.

This isn't the best answer to a good question. I liked the directing class beyond I am really interested in telling good stories, and the director's job is to make sure that everything the audience sees is part of the story, and nothing more. It's a big part of what I like about gamemastering.

My yellow blanket. I have owned it for my entire life. It's thin and ratty and probably too delicate to wash, but I have taken it everywhere and I have always appreciated having it.

Millari thought I was going to say Feisty, but she's not a thing. She's much more important than my blanket.

hmmm

Drop me an email, and I'll be happy to tell you more. I'm not a privacy fanatic, but I do like to reserve some details to myself. And my bio is completely accurate, even the bits that are lies.
