As I expected would happen once the Cubs blew three chances to make the World Series, the Red Sox have dramatically blown it against the Yankees. It happens every time. I'm used to it. It's disappointing. Anyway, there's only one thing left to say:

GO MARLINS!

Destiny loves drama. That's why Jeb Bush has offered that Cubs 'fan' asylum in Florida if he has to move because of the shitstorm that is likely to be his life right now. It's just that the Apocalypse can't happen now. Be patient.

Actually, Lefty, properly speaking that's merely the common, Mediterranean Dork (literally, strange person from Mallorca). I am an example of the northern variety, the dorkus nordicus. I suspect that my ancestory traces back to the incursion of the Danes (Vikings, or in this case, Drrkings, with an umlaut), who settled in Britain in the ninth and tenth centuries, taking for their territory a portion of the greater Danelaw, the Dorklaw. It was from this legal code, incidentally, that the modern gamer custom of 'dicing for it' derives.2
