I don't have time to properly detail my weekend here, but suffice for now that it was busy. I met Neil Gaiman again (again briefly, and again, I don't think he really heard a word I said.), though he was just as entertaining a speaker as I had remembered. He doesn't look much different, either, though I think I am about the age now that he was when I saw him in Northampton (at which point, he had two children about ten years of age.) Sydneycat and Filthyassistant both got him to sign books, and were gushing over how cool, handsome, charming, etc. he was.

Yesterday, FA's psycho roommate tried to pull a 'Here's Johnny' Jack Nicholson impression on her sane (and cute) roommate. Cuteroommate was afraid to leave her room. Drove over, picked her up and took her to police station. Waited an hour and a half while she talked with Northampton's Donuttiest. Then, went with FA, SC, and CR to Hunan Gourmet, wherein yours truly once again picked up the check. What I won't do when motivated by generosity, compassion, and a hard-on.

Sometimes, I think all my virtues are just a cover for my vices.

I need to take you out to dinner sometime. You pick up the check too often. You're sweet though.

Yes, but most of my friends are broke, and eating together is such fun....
