Of course we also get alot of the great plague diseases from our initial interactions with dogs and other animals which were domesticated. They gave us things like measels, polio, cholera, typhoid, viral hepatitis, whooping cough and diphtheria! Go domestication! (Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing overall.)
