Friday evening

Apparently, there is a lot of sturm und drang going on over LJ right now. I can't read it, because my friends view is so fucked up, most of the words are over the right hand margin. I'm sorry to hear about it and I'm glad that I'm too busy to go digging into it just now.

I do, however, wish to announce/confirm that I will be entertaining all comers this Friday. Millari will be bringing a friend of hers from out east, and hopefully a good time will be had by all.

ADDENDUM:
In honor of upcoming Ha lloween, I was thinking that it might be neat to actually read a story or two, preferably scary ones. If anyone has an offering they'd like to share, please bring it. I have some neat stuff here at my place (Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, Poe, Fritz Lei ber, Zelazny's Night In The Lonesome October), as well.

whatever you're up for, i'll help cook it! and as soon as the union decides to give me my first paycheck (which should hopefully be within a week) i'm planning on buying supplies for *authentic homecooked chinese dumplings* for you guys to sample. they'll probably come out a bit lumpy-looking, but the taste will more than make up for it as it's my chinese host mom's recipe. ok. now i'm hungry! heh heh

don't worry about the calories - they're boiled, not fried, so it's not that artery-clogging either. besides, have you ever met a happy 98 pound adult? ;)
