yet it makes me very apprehensive. Millari's ex called this afternoon. Apparently, Camper Van Beethoven (a really great 80s band, some of you may know it) is playing a few shows in NYC this weekend. He has invited us to join him and his new girl in attending. I'm excited to see Camper, but very nervous about seeing F (hereinafter known as Taxman) and riding in the car with him for six hours on Saturday night to and from the show. Plus, I am still feeling very washed out, even though I think I am actually over the illness that has dogged me for the past week.

I totally understand your apprehensions. I have mine too. Besides the obvious ones you mention, I'm not at all sure the ex's girlfriend is particularly disposed to getting to know me. Six hours is a daunting prospect. I think we need to discuss this a bit more before we commit to buying tickets, maybe?

Yes, well, I think if I felt stronger and healthier I'd be more sanguine about the idea. I would really like to see Taxman again.
