 I just had a dream in which I was at a history of science conference in Iran.  At one point, I  had to read an article on botanical gardens in the original French, though I did have a translation for comparison.  Someone else in the dream started talking up my talents, including my ability to read French, which was a bit embarrassing, so I had to explain that I didn't really remember the language anymore... though I did do it in French.  (btw, this was actual French, not dream French.)  And I was actually managing, even though I didn't know why I was there, didn't have a security clearance like most of the people there, and at one point a younger, taller, fitter guy started picking on me.  I told him to grow up in front of witnesses, and it worked.

I think my subconscious is trying to tell me that I have more talents that I generally acknowledge, and that I can handle adversity in ways that I couldn't before.

I don't know why Walter Cronkite was there.
