Pazza Ragazza

There will be a get together this Friday at my place if folks are interested, but I shall be leaving about 9:30 to go to a show at the Iron Horse. The band Pazza Ragazza will be playing at 10 pm, opening up for some act or other, and Sabbath has joined them to play drums. Anyone who wants to join me is welcome, of course, and folks can stay and be merry at my place, but unless I hear otherwise I shall be going to the show.

We can still have dinner, fun, stories, etc. though.

I should perhaps take myself off the D&D listing, since I still play second edition (with modified bits), and everyone seems to have embraced 3E with nary a backward glance....

I know what you mean. I took up D&D back in 1980 when I was ten. I started running my current game world in late 92, when there was some suspicion that TSR would simply fold. I have tweaked the 2nd Ed. rules to suit my needs, and at this point, while 3E seems to be a fine rule system, it strikes me as too much of a pain in the ass to figure out how to get the Cloth to work in a revised setting.

So, are you playing now? Do you DM or play?

Oh, and I forgot to mention: my friend Sydneycat found the Dr. Strangelove picture for me on the net. She told me I needed a graphic, and asked me what I'd like. When she heard my stock response to someone asking my sign: "Nuclear Warhead--Do Not Drop", she came up with that. I like it.

well i haven't played in so long i had a game going with this group of people but we all seem to move on. yeah the new editions are a pain in the ass. i bought the books just to read up on them and to be in the know. as far as your icon i think it's nifty:)
