More stuff that has happened to me.

You know, it occurs to me that I should be typing 'stuff that I have done', as life isn't just something that happens to me, and what really matters are the choices that I make, and not the circumstances that shape them. But, anyway.
Last weekend, I was in Mansfield, working Total Confusion for the store. I should probably write a whole post about this on its own, and perhaps I shall. Suffice for now that: it run Thursday to Sunday; we made money; it was laid back enough that I could run off and play some games; I was quite sick on Thursday and only somewhat better by Sunday; Wandelrust graciously came and helped with set up and take down, thereby saving my life. Possibly literally. I hope that he and OM come and visit again soon. We totally have to take them to the Green Bean.
Last night, saw the worst tragedy I have ever seen. It started promisingly, focusing on an unpleasant character everyone called Deadeye, but by the end, everyone was happily married, no one had died, not one drop of blood had hit the stage, and folks were singing and dancing throughout. In fact, the audience laughed repeatedly for the whole show. HMS Pinafore is no Macbeth, let me tell you. The only reason M and I went (along with Fuschia) was to see Sphinxvictorian perform the role of Hebe. She was funny, and looked really cute in that hat.
Yesterday afternoon, I went to see the doctor, finally. It turns out that I have bronchitis, and have done for about two weeks. I'll be picking up some anti-biotics and albuterol tomorrow.
Tonight, the Amoeba came over, the Team made tacos, we watched three eps of BSG season 1, and we all were really funny. Then M and watched the latest ep of Torchwood, "Reset". I liked it quite a bit.
And now, bed.

"I imagine they sang."
"They SANG!"
I love that you are probably the only one on my flist that will get that bit of silliness. We are a good taco-making, Gilbert and Sullivan-attending, snowdriving, BSG/TW-watching team. I'm really glad I got drafted here. ;)
