Every job has them.  I was reminded of perhaps the best of mine yesterday, when a guy brought in several shelves worth of excellent used graphic novels, many in pristine condition.  (Lefty was tempted to just put some out as new, but in the end decided that since he bought them as new, we'd sell them as new.) Since I was right there helping to tag and shelve them, I realized that I effectively had first pick, something I wouldn't do with new books, since we save them for customers, but with used books, even with my employee discount, the store still makes a profit.  Thus, I came home with a copy of Alan Moore and Melinda Gebbie's excellent, sexy, deluxely hardcover, sexy Lost Girls for only $30. 

DId I mention sexy?

Anyway, just at this moment, Idefinitely feel like I 'win' at life.  It's a nice, if fleeting, experience.
