Well, Sabbath and I had our date last night, and it went well. Casablanca turned out to be a matinee, so we went to see Death To Smoochy, instead. Without doubt, it was one of the most idiosyncratic films I have ever seen, not light-hearted but quite hilarious in places. Worth seeing. Then, we got takeout, came back to my place, and watched the Maltese Falcon (cause we felt like it), and snuggled on the couch for awhile. It was quite strange to lie there and think 'there is no reason why shouldn't do as we please' and feel both exhilerated and terrified at the same time. My heart has been in the cage so long its got agoraphobia. Still, there's no hurry.

Oh, and on Friday I hung out with SC and FA again, and we listened to Darknoise on WMUA. That was so much fun. I really like spending Friday like that. We futzed around so much that evening that we wound up watching the movie we rented (Leap of Faith?) on Sat. afternoon. It was the Bill Stiller/Edward Norton/Jenna Elfman comedy about the priest and the rabbi, and it was really good. Also worth watching.
