Pixi, the first thing I have to say that I appreciate the way you validated me for being smart, but not making you feel dumb. I have been working hard at that for twenty years, and it's nice that it's working.

I think the joy you take in learning is really neat. Until I met you, I didn't realize just how much I had taken for granted about my own schooling, and I admire the work you have put into your education.

You are a caring and loyal friend, as you probably know, and I really value the effort you put in to staying in touch, such as inviting Millari and me to your parties and home.

You have overcome loss, injury and all sorts of home stress and way too much disrespect and you are still working to live the life you want. I respect that. Good for you.
