News in my life
Mar. 31st, 2004 01:28 amI have started living at the new place. Millari and I spent the previous two nights there. It doesn't feel like home yet--things aren't all where they're supposed to be, because I don't yet know where that is. Feisty is already adjusting, though she was pretty upset about going to the vet this AM.
Thanks go to Lefty, Sydneycat, Soulstorage, The Destroyer, Badass, with an extra helping for MAMEd, OPD and especially Millari.
I still have a few things at my place, and there's still some cleaning to do, but I think I can have it all done by dinner time. I can't wait to be finished with it. This weekend, we'll set up the new place like home, and then I will have to work really fast to get the big research project done. (You know, the one I should have started a year ago?)
I just want to say here how wonderful Millari is. The other night, she passed fellow sitting huddle in a blanket on the sidewalk with a 'homeless and hungry, please help' sign. So, she went home, cooked a big serving of pasta bolognese and took it out for him. She is such a beautiful person.
(The guy then turned down the food. Go figure.)
