grinninfoolePosting quickly from my brother's computer. (Geez, Imacs have teeny little keyboards!) M and I drove out here to Andover last night. What with both of us wanting dinner, me burning her a birthday CD, and taking care of 'one last thing' (oh, and watching the Daily Show), we didn't actually leave until about 1:15 AM, arriving here two hours later. We are both dorks. But it was a nice drive, and it's been nice sleeping late and putzing around here. Torrential rains nearly swamped my parents in downtown Andover in their mini-van, so we decided to wait a little bit.
Now, we're off to the Best Western down the block from Beth Israel Deaconess, to check in for a two day stay, visit M's mom, and then hook up with Macropixi for dinner. (We'll have to jet, the afternoon is rushing along.) My old friend Fran, whom I have not seen in about two years, called us back and will have us over for dinner tomorrow night. Yay! I haven't seen her new home, and she's a great cook. I'm looking forward to introducing M to her and Kelly.
Tomorrow through Friday we're going to go play tourist, and we're looking for fun stuff to do around Boston. We have some ideas, but if any of you have a notion or two, do feel free to suggest them.
My back is better, though I'm still wearing the brace, and I feel like third season Shatner. Dr. Tanney thinks that I have a misalignment in my neck, which is causing some nerve degeneration in my right arm. Could lead to carpal tunnel and other problems. He says we should be in time to correct it without much trouble. Which is good.
Right, well. that's all for now.
