A minor but satisfying achievement.

Tonight, Sabbath and I had dinner with her family, to celebrate her birthday and her parents' anniversary. Afterwards, and this is the important part, I drove home. I have been behind the wheel of a stick-shift car only once before in my life, six years ago. I stalled out a few times at the I-90 tollbooth getting on 91, but on the whole I did pretty well. Yay me!
