Not bad, actually
May. 4th, 2009 02:25 amToday featured a helpful house meeting, and an afternoon in which I got a present for a friend, made some phone calls, did some housework, got dressed up, drove to Sol Azteca, had good talk with M on the way, had birthday dinner with Mami, came home, paid the bills, and now I'm taking five minutes to type this before sleep.
M and I are exploring home improvement and ways to pay for it. We're pleased that interest rates have dropped since we bought our home, as this may make it all possible.
I have gone from no gaming to three occasional D&D games: two fourth ed, and one third ed. The latter may soon shift gears, and give me scope to run a Midnight campaign. Which is great, but now I have to switch gears from crunchy mode to figuring out what story stuff I actually need and will be useful to prepare. Must not forgot: the PCs are the stars of the game.
Still, must push myself to do more, and grow more comfortable with risk, which ultimately means with failure... and success.
