Will Eisner is dead.

Will Eisner, last and most thoughtful of the early greats of American comics, died yesterday. I met him three times. He was a really nice man, with lots of interesting stories to tell. I'm sorry I shall never meet him again. I wonder if the non-comics world will notice.

Goals for 2005

Not necessarily in order.

1) Finish my MA.

2) Write a novel.

3) Get a second job.

4) Propose to Millari.

5) Plan our wedding.

6) Work on my fear of intimacy. (More on this later.)

7) Exercise more.

8) Visit my mom more often.

9) Pay for everything myself (exception: medical costs. Man, those suck.)

10) By year's end, save all extra money from mom and dad.

11) Be more open with, and to, my emotions.
