So much to say, and I'm posting about this?

I could post about the last Harry Potter book (not that I have read it yet, but there's so much swirling interest that I have a few things to say about it anyway) or even go into how much I liked the fifth Harry Potter movie (more than the book in many ways), or about  the crazy time last weekend working Connecticon (not that interesting, really, but wow did we make money), or how much I dug the Order of the Stick book, Start of Darkness, or totting all the other books I have read of late, or about major stuff like prepping to have kids, or finding jobs, or seriously evaluating my commitment to my marriage, or visiting with my aging parents.

Nah.  Screw all of that.

Instead, while I wait for the coals to properly ignite, I'm just going to say that M and I are going to experiment with cooking potatoes and apple slices on the grill.  We are mad adventurers!

i htnk since i got start of darkness this past Wednesday i have read the book no less than three times. i could NOT put it down last weds night, and i read straight through. then i kept re-reading different parts of it just to absorb everything...

the depth and the...i don't know... EXAPNSIVEness of this story just feels *daunting* at times. really i'm going to have to start reading allt he books again just because.

i mean...the thing with the coffee just blew my freaking mind!

I know what you mean. And wow, do I pity and despise Red Cloak. And I very much look forward to someone finally killing Xykon. What a great series. I should add them to my LJ interests.

OH, and that reminds me of something I should post about, too.

OMG SPOILARZ

really, if you thnk about it, xkon is still not that smart. this is one of THE worst ways to control someone, cause after a while, they're just gonna lose their shit and do what they want anyways. his brother might comeback in ghost form or somehting, and say :"oh its ok just kill him" and then xykon is boned.

of course, since xykon is a villian and KNOWS hes the villian, he might have set it up that way anyways.

i said this in the OOTS comm...i will never look at coffee the same way again.
